Mr. Ramesh Pokhriayal appreciated Nakiya for her thoughts
Raipur: On occasion of International Women’ Day a webinar was organised by the Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi in presence of Central Education Minister Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’, Shri Manoj Ahuja, Chairman CBSE, Ms. Anita Karwal Secretary Education and Literacy and many other dignitaries.
Only nine Girl School Students from across the country participated in the program. Hon’ble Union minister and all dignitaries were keen to know the ambition of these 9 bright girls and their dream of modern India. Ms. Nakia Malak, student of Class XI of Holy Hearts Educational Academy, Civil Lines, Raipur was one amongst the 9 students and her thoughts were well appreciated by honourable Minister.
Nakiya Malak took this golden opportunity and expressed her views with candour. She shared her dream to become a doctor and to serve the women of rural and tribal areas of Chhattisgarh.
She mentioned that over the years with advent of technology and hardwork of Govt. & NGOs lot of improvement has happened in the condition of women health but still there is a lot of work pending. She plans to take this work ahead and dreams of an India where its rural women are also getting best in class health facilities. She mentioned that as a Doctor she will work very hard to achieve her aim.
Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank was highly impressed by Nakiya’s thoughts. He further said that the children should communicate with their grandparents. He also told about his poems titled, ‘Maa ki Pathsala’. He gave Nakiya all his best wishes as she has chosen to take up the noblest profession.
Nakiya said in her discussion that When you educate a man you educate an Individual but when you educate a women you educate entire nation. Later in afternoon Mr. Pokhriyal shared her phrase on his official social media.
Nakiya thanked the Chairman of Holy Hearts School Shri. S.P.Singh Sir & Principal Mrs. Kalpana Tiwari. She also showed gratitude to her Teachers Mrs. Archana Paroha & Mrs. Radhika Atre for their support & guidacne.
